IMPACT COACH GIVEN NATIONAL AWARD
WEST ROXBURY - MA - The Blue Hills Impact are proud to announce that our U18 assistant coach, Richard Ward, has been awarded a Double-Goal Coach winner by Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA). The purpose of this prestigious award is "to shine a spotlight on their exceptional efforts to make sports for young athletes a place where they can come together to learn, grow and develop the character they need to thrive in sports, and in life" - The PCA explained when announcing Coach Richard's achievement on February 24, 2020.
As well as his enthusiasm and hard work Coach Richard puts in with our U18 team, he is also a familiar face of the local community. Along side his coaching duties for the Red Sox RBI (Reviving Baseball in Inner City) program, Coach Richard helps youth from the local area gain access and provision of other sports such as Baseball, Basketball and Skiing! The Blue Hills Impact are extremely proud of his achievements and honored to continue to have Coach Richard in our program. Congratulations u18 assistant coach Richard Ward!
